Orthodontics

The best candidate for orthodontic treatment depends on a number of individual factors. However, in general, orthodontic treatment may be recommended for people who have overcrowded teeth, pockets that are too deep or too shallow, gaps or spaces between teeth, bite clenching or grinding (bruxism), and mouths that are asymmetrical. Patients with any of these issues may benefit from orthodontic treatment in order to create a straighter and healthier smile.

What's the Difference Between Metal Braces and Invisalign®?
Metal braces are made of metal wires and brackets that are placed on your teeth to move them into the desired position. Invisalign® is a type of clear braces made of plastic that moves your teeth into the desired position.

Metal braces are more traditional and may be better for severe cases of misalignment. Invisalign®, on the other hand, is less visible and may be better for mild to moderate cases of misalignment. Invisalign® can also be removed while you eat or brush your teeth.

How Much Does a Straighter Smile Cost?
The exact cost will depend on several factors, such as the severity of your case and how long your treatment will take. Many insurance plans offer some coverage for orthodontic treatment, so be sure to check with your insurer to see if orthodontic treatment is covered.
